Work is Play.
CGP Studios’ people share a driving need to work hard but still have a good time. It’s the way we create effective image design. Our partners, managers, and client services people are here to help you every step of the way with all of your print, web, and mobile media communications.
As one of CGP Studios' three managing partners, Mitch's knack for managing projects and creative problem solving add value and vigor to the marketing and media strategies of CGP's clients.
Mitch is a regular contributor and active participant with the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation's (PBTF's) Ride For Kids program, and serves on its leadership task force.
On Friday afternoons you might catch a glimpse of Mitch riding like the wind as he takes off on his BMW motorcycle from CGP's building overlooking the west bank of the Hudson River. Depending on the weather, he'll invariably be riding either to get to some of the Hudson Valley's more upstream tributaries to cast his fly-fishing line and meditate on the mantra of catching some monster trout...or to meet up with his ski buddies at the top of one of his favorite northern slopes for a thrilling downhill ski run.
Mitch resides in New York's Hudson Valley with his wife Kathleen and their two cats, Benny and Barney, who rule the house.
Paul started CGP in 1969 (the same year, coincidentally, he finally gave up being a die-hard Dodgers' fan to become an avid Mets' fan).
Paul's desire to try new things and his natural team-building skills have been the primary driving force behind CGP's development into a full service creative-production graphic services company. During the past two decades—as technology drastically changed how we work and eliminated the lines of demarcation among creative and production functions—these skills have enabled Paul to expand the company's partner-management team that has evolved into the CGP Studio-3 offering. Being able to share decision-making with the CGP Studios team is something he considers one of his greatest accomplishments in business.
Paul starts each day with a yoga session and loves to come to work. It's a pleasure, he says, that's second only to his love of spending time with his three sons. When not at work or relaxing at home with his wife, Naomi, and their family, Paul can often be found scuba diving or skiing, depending on the season.
JackDirector of Sales/Marketing,
In 1997, Jack joined CGP as a managing partner. In addition to his focus on overseeing CGP's account management and sales team, Jack manages CGP's print & web promotional programs, estimating, and branding projects.
NYC streetwise, tell-it-like-it-is Jack lives with his Oregon-born wife, Tanya, their two beautiful daughters, and two Rhodesian Ridgeback puppies, in Oak Ridge, NJ. He and his family enjoy camping and sports. And while dad loves his work, his ultimate dream is to open a children's haunted mansion party complex where he can play and have fun...'cause he's the biggest kid in the room!
TakaDirector of Photography & Videography
Taka began his career as a photographer in Japan at the age of 23. Carrying a backpack and with only a few dollars in his pocket, he made his way to New York City to develop his creativity and training in the exciting world of photography, where he worked with some of the world's leading professional photographers and creative directors before opening his own studio and then joining CGP.
Taka is well know for his ability to create optical narratives and images that inspire and evoke both feelings and ideas. When he isn't planning or working a photo or video shoot, he's relaxing in Pound Ridge, NY, where he resides with his wife, four children, dog and cat.
As a kid, Mindy was captivated by musicals, math and poker. The youngest of 3 sisters on Long Island she always handled negotiating allowances, the tooth fairy, and manipulating her parents. Since then, her passions have led her on a clear path to her current position as CFO.
Keeping us out of trouble since 2000, Mindy's innate ability to multitask while doing high finance has made her critical to the every day workings of CGP. Mindy stands along side the partners helping them navigate the constant economic and financial changes of today's economy.
Mindy is a compulsive book buyer, chocolate addict, coupon clipper and beach fanatic. From '76 to '77 she followed the Grateful Dead but the details are fuzzy.
Mindy currently lives in Queens and in her free time likes to talk about her "son the lawyer."
JillDirector of Operations
Jill has the unique natural ability and cultivated talent to be able to see both the forest and the trees. Her creative-production knowledge and her calm-under-fire attitude serves her well in her pivotal, key management position at the center of CGP's Studio-3 creative-production operations.
In addition to her dedication, commitment, and tireless work as CGP Studios' chief juggler and organizer, Jill is an avid cyclist, runner, and enthusiastic Yankees fan. She currently resides in Nyack with her two children and their pet fish.
His job requires knowing all of the programs—both the front-end creative programs and the back-end production, workflow, network, archiving, and data management software—as well as the hardware and program protocols for the 3 CGP Studios. His vigilance is critical for maintaining all systems and workflow operations. And, when Mr. Murphy's whatever-can-go-wrong destruction seeking ghost does descend upon one of our studios to try to muck-up the works, he's ready and able to diagnose and solve the problems to avoid scheduling delays in every possible way.
He proudly considers himself "a huge music, recording and film nerd." When he's trying to not break his butt skateboarding and snowboarding, he plays music to soothe the savage micro-circuited beast. He is also an avid collector of too many things to list but mostly of deep-tracks vinyl music recordings.
Adam's focus for CGP Studios is mostly in the music & entertainment, food and beverages, fashion, beauty/cosmetics, and sports industries. He takes an athletic approach to his work, bringing positive energy and drive to every project and challenge. People often tell him that he seems to be able to get along with just about anybody, but he's quick to make it clear that he has little patience for negativity, lowered quality standards, or effort without heart.
When not on the job he's either listening to or mixing new playlists of funk, soul, and 90's rap music, doing Crossfit or skiing.
